Last week's episode of Californication S07E06 "Kickoff", there was a party at a Hollywood writer/producer's mansion. Typewriters were featured in a scene involving the main character and one of the female stars of a tv show within the tv show. She stood by the machines seductively as she tried to persuade Hank to kill her off the show. Somehow the scene ends with him eating her out.
I've only seen the first season of this show, but he prominently uses a Hermes 3000 and an IBM Selectric in that season. I see his collection of typewriters (and sexual conquests - connection, perhaps?) has grown.
ReplyDeleteThis show has quite a few typewriters in it! There's another scene in the last episode where he sits in the window of his director, between several typewriters. Thought about making a snapshot, but forgot...
